Boarding is awful as you do not know your gate until the last minute, so if you have questions about your flight you don't know where to go to ask, and then everyone crowds into a queue prior to boarding because they've just leaned where to go, shoving people out of the way. They charge ridiculous amounts of money for everything, so a reasonable fare is really not a good fare at all at the end of the day. Pros: "Staff were lovely and very attentive, and frequently passed through with bags to collect rubbish so you didn't have to sit with it for hours.
Overall it was a relatively comfortable flight despite being a bit on the cramped side. A female crew member handled a disruptive group promptly and very calmly during the safety demonstration which others may have just ignored. No entertainment. Unfortunately boarding was late and a bit chaotic, which led to a half hour wait after flight restrictions were placed.
Cons: "The easyjet app is really not good. I only received updates through Kayk app on my phone about delays that were constantly increasing and decreasing in time. At one point, there was a delay for 1. If I hadn't of had my other app, I would have never known. Secondly, the easyjet app didn't save the fact that I had checked in. This caused an issue when I wanted to access my boarding pass getting onto the plane. I tried to see it, but the app said my plane had taken off and so I couldn't access it and therefore, wasn't sure of my seat number.
Next time, I'd just appreciate a paper boarding pass because the issues that occur on the phone are too numerous. I really dislike this because instead of making one's way direct to the gate and relaxing at the gate, one must wait in a crowded "shopping mall" with no view of the aircraft, and then when the gate is announced, make a mad rush to the gate.
